Look under $55

Today I decided to challenge myself with look under $55. It was lots of fun, I would love to do this for a living, one day this will happen. Here are my suggestions. For the top I chose this beautiful Animal Top, love the print and the silk fabric. The good think is you can go on the bottom with jeans, skirt, leggings, etc. The color is great too because can go with almost every color bottom.














The bottom I decided to be a pencil skirt, simple black skirt will bring the attention to the top, which what I like.

'Mad Men' actress Hendricks takes on Etsy style

TV Hunter first found photos of Hendricks on Etsy June 25. Hendricks wore a knit scarf. A dress she sported during an episode of "Mad Men" is on sale in a charity auction on eBay along with furniture from the show's old sets. It's good that the celebrity's are finding the best handmade staff on Etsy.

Handmade fashion

This is one of my clutches that I make. When I see a beautiful fabric I know that it will make a fab clutch. I’ll be very happy if you let me know what is the fabric that you absolutely love and what to see how will look like on a clutch. Challenge me.

How do I look?

I was thinking yesterday about the phrase ” You look very good for your age”. I think you’ve heard it too. I don’t really like this comment, and I’ll tell you why. When someone says it it means that you look good only for your age, but if you are 1-5 years older you are not going to look that good. If you want to make a compliment to someone just tell them You Look Good, don’t mention the age, it’s not very nice. Beauty doesn’t have age.
This is my opinion, let me know what do you think about this.

Fall trends 2010

This season as I mentioned before, the Thigh high boots will be a trend. I want to show you some pictures from the runway to give you an idea how you can combine them. But let me tell you that the fashion trends are giving us a hint what the big stores will sell, this doesn't mean that everything will look great on everyone, and that you will be comfortable, so still make sure that whatever you buy is for your body shape. You know that StrawberryTopic is a blog that is 75% about fashion and beauty, I love being surrounded it, sometimes I don't like all the fashion for the season and I don't buy. I decide what will be good for my body type, comfortable, not too expensive and that can be combined with multiple clothing peaces.

Women's Fall 2010 shoe trends

This season the Thigh high boots are going to be the trend for 2010. I have mixed feelings about them because don't know how I'll look, but doesn't mean I won't try. Send me some pic if you get this I want to see your boots with your outfit.I think those will be great with tights and pants (I'm not a very short skirt person, but you can wear them with it too). As soon as I get them I'll post some pic's.

How to pick the right color shoes?

I love shoes as much as everyone out there. Sometimes I see beautiful outfit with not that great picked shoes. If you are wearing colorful outfit don't wear colorful shoes because it's becoming a big mess.
The best way to decide is to check what color shoes you have, and then find the shade that is going to mach one of the colors in your outfit. I know that everyone says Black goes with everything, but sometimes not every dress or pants will look great with this color. If you don't really know what I mean I'll give you an example with the shoe on the picture, this is great fabric with flowers, do you think that if you wear something that has a lots of flowers will look great? I don't think so. This will go with any single color (yellow, red, pink, green, etc..) that your outfit has.
